Jamie is Co-founder of Bloom—a serial entrepreneur and investor with keen focus in businesses that drive positive impact in the world. Jamie has founded multiple startups across a wide variety of industries, including HR SAAS, EdTech, communications, internet accelerators, media & mobile app development.

He is also the founder of Uptime—the powerbrand in content engagement, serving 11 million users worldwide.

Prior to Bloom, Jamie co-founded and invented Interclubnet PLC, an online trading platform for major football clubs to buy and sell players akin to a Bloomberg terminal "X-tranet". In August 2000 the company floated on AIM with a market capitalisation of £30 million. Turnover in Year 1 totalled £8.1Million. 

In January 2004 Jamie launched a 9 patented service called ONSPEED, where it floated for £25 million on AIM in 2005. 

In Jan 2010, Jamie founded Grapple — a patented mobile application platform. Grapple won the most Innovative Mobile Agency of 2012 and was successfully acquired by Monitse PLC (MONI) AIM in Sep 2013.

In 2016, Jamie set up LifeWorks, the HR wellbeing and technology platform serving as CEO. LifeWorks was acquired for $325million in July 2018 by Morneau Shepell (re-branding itself to LifeWorks) with Jamie taking on the CDO position within the group. In 2022, LifeWorks sold to Telus for $2.3B. 

Jamie currently also holds board positions in Doughlicious and is actively investing in growth businesses.
