A well sought after “health tech” executive, Stephen Liptrap recently sold LifeWorks to TELUS for ~$3B. Prior to this sale, Stephen was CEO, President and board member since 2017. He joined the LifeWorks senior executive team in 2008, bringing with him more than 25 years of senior global executive experience in the high tech, consumer packaged goods and retail sectors.

Stephen currently sits on the board of directors for BLOOM, a UK start up focused on democratizing coaching leveraging technology and deep expertise as well as sitting on the advisory board of Overalls and helping the Canadian government through his participation in the Disability Inclusion Business Council as well as consulting to a large Private Equity firm on its U.S. growth strategy. Recently, Stephen served on the TELUS Health board as it transitioned through the integration efforts and has been a key member of the Business Council of Canada, the Human Capital Policy Council of the C.D. Howe Institute as well as a member of the national committee for CAMH’s 150 leading Canadians for mental health, and served on the HR committee of the PanAm games, the Canadian board of directors for NCR and the pension board for Europe of a large technology company. Mr. Liptrap holds an Honours Business Administration degree from the Ivey business school, Western University, is a graduate of the Harvard advanced management program and was a Certified Human Resources Executive (“CHRE”).
