A well sought after health tech executive leader, Stephen Liptrap brings 25 years+ global experience in health tech, consumer packaged goods and retail.

Prior to Bloom, Stephen Liptrap was the CEO, President and board member of LifeWorks — The human resources services and technology company (formerly known as Morneau Shepell). In 2022, LifeWorks sold to Telus for $2.3B. 

Stephen currently sits on the board of directors for Bloom as well as sitting on the advisory board of Overalls, helping the Canadian government through his participation in the Disability Inclusion Business Council as well as consulting to a large Private Equity firm on its U.S. growth strategy. 

Recently, Stephen served on the TELUS Health board as it transitioned through the integration efforts and has been a key member of the Business Council of Canada, the Human Capital Policy Council of the C.D. Howe Institute as well as a member of the national committee for CAMH’s 150 leading Canadians for mental health.

He served on the HR committee of the PanAm games, the Canadian board of directors for NCR and the pension board for Europe of a large technology company. 

Mr. Liptrap holds an Honours Business Administration degree from the Ivey business school, Western University, is a graduate of the Harvard advanced management program and was a Certified Human Resources Executive (“CHRE”).
